Easter

After much deliberation, we finally decided to go home for the Easter holiday. Not that we didn't want to go home but, short weekends are really hard on the kids and the 9 hour drive gets very long. Luckily, Jason ended up having some work to do in Kansas City the following Monday through Thursday and so the decision was suddenly easy to make. The kids had a wonderful time hunting Easter eggs with cousin Evan on Sunday and visiting with Great Grandma. On Monday, we went to the park with Evan (who was out of school) and then had lunch with Grandma and Jackie and Greg. Tuesday, we spent time with Jason's family and the kids had tons of fun playing in the huge sandbox. Wednesday, Mema took me shopping for my birthday and then out to eat for "chips and sauce" (Kareena loves cheese dip at Mexican restaurants and that's what she call them.) Thursday, we packed up the car and headed home for Kareena's ballet debute.
