Natural Bridge State Park

This weekend, Jason went on a campout with the pathfinder group at the Lexington church. Normally, we would have been right there with them but it was forcasted to get down in the low 30's at night and we didn't think the kids needed to be out in that. Instead, Kareena, Izaak and I loaded up on Saturday morning and joined Daddy for a hike through the woods, lunch and hot chocolate around the campfire. It was a beautiful day to be out in nature and to marvel at the handy work of God. Kareena decided that she wanted to stay with Daddy when it was time for us to leave and since Jason and I figured she would want to stay if we came out, we had her sleeping bag and extra clothes packed for her. So, she and Jason snuggled up in the back of the SUV to cut down on some of the cold and Izaak and I came home and cuddled up in front of the TV with our hot chocolate and formula.
