Camping Trip

We had a great time camping out with our church family last weekend (Sept. 9th-11th.) Kareena found lots of flowers, acorns, reptiles and bugs to investigate while we were there. Here, she and Mr. Aaron are inspecting a huge green caterpillar we found on our hiking trail. We were very impressed with how well we all did on our first campout as a family of four and we took Buddy too. I will admit that we all went to bed early on Sunday when we got home though. We tried to keep Izaak from getting into too much nature, that is eating everything. But, he did like the slimy rocks down at the lake and the leaves that would flutter down onto his tray. He also enjoyed splashing in the lake and watching all the kids run around. You could tell that he wanted to out there with them and was ready to go if only someone would put him down. We want to thank Mr. Randy and Mrs. Lois for organizing the campout and for taking us all out on the lake in their boat. Kareena loved going tubing with Daddy and Izaak just kicked back and let the wind tossle his hair.
